Terms & Conditions for the "Car Giveaway" Contest

Participation in the Car Giveaway Contest constitutes the entrants full and unconditional agreement and acceptance of these Terms & Conditions including the decisions of RE/MAX Central Corp. which are final on all matters relating to the Contest.

 

Basics of the Draw

 

The Draw is sponsored by participating Sales Representatives & Brokers of Re/Max Central Corp. A ballot is awarded to the Buyer or Seller of a property purchased or sold with a participating agent of Re/Max Central Corp.  On Firm date of the transaction a ballot will be issued to the Buyer or Seller and given to the participating agent to be delivered to the contemplated Buyer or Seller.

 

Who can Enter

Persons participating in the draw must be over 18 years of age. All Employees and Sponsors of RE/MAX Central Corp. and their immediate family members such as parents, siblings and spouses are not eligible to enter the contest.

 

Contest Dates

 

Contest starts June 10th, 2006 to June 8th, 2007.  Draw will occur on stage at the Portugal Day events at Trinity Bellwoods Park on the 10th day of June 2007. 

 

Contest Deadlines

 

To be eligible for the CAR GIVEAWAY contest prize draw you must have a FIRM offer to buy or sell a property with RE/MAX Central Corp. by June 8, 2007 at 11:59 p.m.  Transactions of Purchases and Sales must close successfully to redeem prize, otherwise ballot will be revoked from draw.

 

Chances of Winning

 

Chances of winning depend of the total number of transactions eligible for a ballot received on or before the contest closing date. The first entry drawn will be eligible to win the grand prize. The odds of winning a prize will depend upon the total number of eligible entries received during the contest period. Entering contest acts as a full release and indemnity form stating that he/she has read and understood these official rules and regulations, grants all consents required, authorizes the contest sponsor(s) to broadcast, publish and disseminate his/her name, address, photograph in connection with any promotion or publicity purposes at no additional compensation to the potential winner.  

 

What is the Prize

 

The grand prize is a new 2007 Pontiac G5 Persuit (no cash value). The grand prize must be taken as offered, and is neither transferable nor redeemable for cash. This prize cannot be sold. This contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws and regulations. By accepting the entry form and opting in where indicated, all entrants acknowledge that any and all personal information collected on the entry ballot may also be used for marketing purposes by RE/MAX Central Corp. and the contest entrant hereby consents to such use and hereby releases and forever discharges directors, officers, employees, agents, partners from and against any and all manner of action, causes of action, suits, debts, covenants, contracts, claims and demands, including legal fees and expenses in relation to such disclosure and use. 

 

NOTE: All tax fees and other expenses and surcharges are at the sole responsibility of the prize winner.
